Please use this checklist so you are always ready for showings:

CLEAN! If you are not into cleaning- consider hiring a professional during the time you have your house listed.

Have some nice music playing in the background.

Have a bowl of fresh fruit or fresh flowers displayed. Candies or mints left on the counter as a thank-you can make a big impact.

Put on the air conditioner or heater so the home is comfortable.

In the kitchen clear out any dishes, all counters and work tops.

Remove all appliances and place away if out on countertops etc.

Please remove magnets and personal photos from refrigerator.

In bathrooms coordinate towels to one or two colors only. Buy a new shower curtain and a new clean bath mat, if needed.

Replace tired and old bed linens & covers.

Never lay a rug over carpeting; clean throw rugs are a must, if totally necessary.

No treadmills or exercise equipment out. (Such as in the dining room etc…)

Remove traces of pets such as hair, droppings & smells.

Sweep patios, decking, pathways etc.

Clear out any leaves, sticks, garbage and clutter.

Make sure you fix all small repairs, including leaky faucets, squeaky doors, and loose door handles.

Clean windows and always leave the drapes, shutters and blinds open.

Clear yard and decks of all small items. Such as small planter pots, Charcoal, barbecues, toys. Etc.

Make sure all light bulbs are working. 

Make sure front door is free of cob webs, and debris. If the front door is

Glass, clean it before each showing. (Also if you are in need of new lighting fixtures, buy them. Remember the front door is your showcase.)

Remember that most home shoppers only spend three to four minutes looking

At the average home, so let’s make yours a show stopper! Also, remember, it is not going to be your home anymore and should be marketed as a product.

P.S you should be able to have your house ready within an hour of the call for A showing.
